At the Indian Mobile Congress 2024, Redmi A4 5G was officially unveiled and its price was revealed to be under Rs 10,000. The price is likely to be lower than expected, but higher than the Redmi A3’s launch price in India.
As per a report by Smartprix, the Redmi A4 could launch in India at a starting price of Rs 8,499 after offers. Without offers, the base variant could cost even more.
Redmi A3 4G (3+64GB) was launched in India at a starting price of Rs 7,299, and its 4+128GB model was priced at Rs 8,299. However, Redmi has disclosed a price cap of Rs 10,000 for the A4 5G.

The new Redmi A4 5G will sport a 6.7-inch HD+ IPS LCD display with 90Hz. Redmi A3 Pro is powered by Snapdragon 4s Gen 2 SoC coupled with 4GB LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB eMMC 5.1 storage. It also gets a microSD card slot.
It features a 50MP main rear camera with LED flash, an auxiliary sensor and an 8MP selfie shooter with an f/2.2 aperture. The device also packs a 5000 mAh battery with 18W charging support.
The connectivity options include Dual SIM with Dual 4G LTE and VoLTE, A-GPS, GLONASS, Bluetooth 5.0, Wifi, USB Type-C port, FM Radio, and a 3.5 mm audio jack. It runs on Android 14 without any custom skin on top. The device also gets a side-mounted fingerprint scanner this time.
