Xiaomi has just announced its new flagship smartphone series, the Xiaomi 15 series. On 29th October 2024, the upcoming premium devices will go on sale. Xiaomi also plans to unveil the Xiaomi Pad 7 series and Xiaomi Band 9 Pro next week along with the smartphones.

Xiaomi has confirmed that the Xiaomi Pad 7 Series and Xiaomi Smart Band 9 Pro will launch along with the Xiaomi 15 series on October 29. The design of the new smart wearable and tablet tablets was shown in a series of recent teasers. This Xiaomi Pad 7 series features a stylus and a tall display.

Xiaomi Pad 7 Pro:

Xiaomi Pad 7 Pro is expected to have a large 11.16-inch screen with a resolution of 3.2K, likely around 2880 x 1800 pixels.

The screen is reportedly LCD instead of AMOLED as previous rumors suggested, but it includes full DC dimming, which is typically found in high-end OLED displays. Dimming DC reduces flicker and strain on the eyes.

The tablet will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor. Despite not being the top-tier SoC from the manufacturer, it can handle demanding tasks. It also mentions 67W fast charging.

Cameras on the Pad 7 Pro may be 50-megapixels with a depth sensor on the back. Even though tablets don’t have exceptional cameras, a good main sensor may prove useful for scanning or taking pictures.

Xiaomi’s HyperOS 2, based on Android 15, will pre-install on the Pad 7 Pro, along with an all-metal integrated body.

The Pad 7 series will not be an exception in 2024 as AI becomes more prevalent in products. “AI and deep interconnection” are listed as key features of the Pad 7 Pro in the leak.

According to earlier reports, the Pad 7 series has a battery capacity of 10,000mAh. For security, the tablets are likely to have a fingerprint sensor on the side.

There is still no word on whether Xiaomi will offer 5G or cellular connectivity, but the tablets are expected to support WiFi 7 and include a USB Type-C 3.2 port.

Xiaomi Smart Band 9 Pro:

Xiaomi Smart Band 9 Pro renders surfaced in a leak two weeks ago. It has now been officially revealed how this wearable looks. This device will feature a 1.74-inch AMOLED display with a 336 x 480 resolution, a 60Hz refresh rate, and a peak brightness of 600 nits. Health and fitness tracking features on the Smart Band 9 Pro likely include heart rate monitoring and blood oxygen monitoring. Stay tuned for more coverage of the launch event on October 29.
