At an event in China on October 20, Xiaomi will unveil the 15 and 15 Pro smartphones. We have our first look at the Xiaomi 15 Pro today, thanks to some leaked renders showing the device in black, white, and silver colours. There will also be a titanium edition.
It retains the square camera island design of its predecessor. The placement of the flash module outside the camera island suggests there may be an additional camera inside. Furthermore, the back plate appears to have flatter edges than the Xiaomi 14 Pro.
Additionally, the renders suggest that the Xiaomi 15 Pro will be available in three colours: black, white, and silver. The Titanium edition will also be offered by Xiaomi, according to a report.
As far as the Xiaomi logo is concerned, it retains the same size and location, as well as the same flat design as its predecessor. Similarly to last year, the LEICA branding appears in the middle of the four circular camera cutouts.
Xiaomi 15 Pro:
The Xiaomi 15 Pro sports a larger 6.78-inch TCL OLED with 2K resolution with a 120Hz refresh rate. It also gets 12-bit colours, HDR10+, Dolby Vision, and 2800-nits brightness. The device also gets Xiaomi Ceramic Glass protection.
The Xiaomi 15 Pro comes with Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 SoC coupled with 8GB/12GB/16GB LPDDR5 RAM and 128GB/256GB/512GB/1TB UFS 4.0 storage.
Xiaomi 15 Pro features a 50MP f/1.6 aperture 1/ 1.31″ Light Fusion 900 main sensor with Hyper OIS & Leica Summilux lens support. It comes with a 50MP 115° Leica ultra-wide with a f/2.2 aperture along with a 50MP Sony IMX858 telephoto lens with an f/2.0 aperture & OIS. It comes with a 5X 10cm Infinity Leica telephoto camera. A variable aperture is included, and the main and telephoto lenses are equipped with optical image stabilization. Again the Xiaomi 15 Pro features the same old 32MP selfie shooter as its predecessor.
The Xiaomi 15 Pro packs a 6000 mAh battery with 90W fast wired & 80W wireless charging support. It also gets 10W reverse wireless charging support. The connectivity options include Dual SIM with 4G LTE & 5G support, NFC, IR blaster, Bluetooth 5.4, Wi-Fi 7, and USB Type-C 3.2 port with X-axis linear motor. It also gets stereo speakers powered by Dolby Atmos. It runs on HyperOS with Android 14 OS out of the box.
