The Galaxy Z Fold 6 Special Edition was recently launched in South Korea. There has never been more than one Fold model in a generation. According to a new report, we can expect more of this in the next generation.

The Galaxy Z Fold7 will be available in two variants, according to GalaxyClub. As a result of its sources revealing the codenames for Samsung’s next foldable device, the outlet has drawn this conclusion.

There is a codename B7 for the Galaxy Z Flip7 and a codename Q7 for the Galaxy Z Fold7. A third alias (Q7M) was discovered in addition to these two codenames. According to reports, the development of Q7M is running almost parallel to Q7, which eliminates the possibility of a new foldable appearing in 2025.

One of the first things that comes to mind when thinking of a Galaxy Z Fold7 variant is that it could be a Special Edition. Samsung may also be working on a tri-screen device, which is rumoured to be in the works. The exact purpose of this device is still unknown at this time.

Anyhow, it looks like we’re going to get another exciting piece of tech next year. The Q7M may launch around the same time as the Q7 if it is being developed in parallel with the Q7.
