Samsung is working on a Special Edition Galaxy foldable, but no official details have been released. There is, however, a new webpage for the Galaxy Z Fold6 (Special Edition) on Samsung India’s website.

According to the listing, the specs and images are for the standard Galaxy Z Fold 6. The listed model number, SM-F956BAKDINS, matches the regular model. We still don’t know what makes this “Special Edition” so special.

In terms of title, it appears to be “Galaxy Z Fold 6 (Special Edition)” rather than “Galaxy Z Fold (Special Edition)” as hinted by previous leaks. Samsung’s sixth-generation foldable line still appears to include the device.

Additionally, the Fold6 (Special Edition) might not be limited to just South Korea and China, as previously rumoured.

The webpage could suggest a broader launch across markets such as the US and Europe if it isn’t just a placeholder. At this point, that’s just speculation.

The foldable might launch soon, however. An X user has shared the estimated pre-order date for the device. Pre-orders will be available until October 24, 2024, with pre-orders likely to open on October 18. On October 25, delivery will begin.
