In November, Redmi will announce the Redmi K80 and K80 Pro phones. Both phones are expected to feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 and Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chipsets. Redmi announced the K70e and K70 Pro alongside the Redmi K70e last year, so the K80e may also be on the way. Digital Chat Station, a tipster, has leaked the details of the successor to the K70e. Redmi’s new leak also includes information about another sub-flagship phone.

Tipster Digital Chat Station reports that Redmi Turbo 4 and Turbo 4 Pro will come with yet-to-be-announced chipsets.

The handsets will be based on the Dimensity 8400 and Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 processors, and will have flat screens in line with current trends. New battery technology is expected to allow for a more than 6,000mAh battery capacity in the Redmi Turbo 4 and Turbo 4 Pro without compromising device performance.

Redmi’s Turbo brand aims to be a “performance flagship series” of phones that sit between its top-tier K lineup and Note midrange phones. It would make sense for the Turbo 4 to have a fourth-generation Snapdragon platform, as the Turbo 3 had a Snapdragon 8s Gen 3.

The Redmi K70E was sold with Dimensity 8300, meaning that the K80E might be moved to the Turbo family under a new name.

Poco X6 Pro and Poco F6 are the Chinese versions of Redmi K70E and Redmi Turbo 3. Poco phones should launch as Turbo 4 duos in international markets only logically.
