The Redmi K80 and K80 Pro are expected to be launched in China in November, which could be rebranded as Poco F7 and F7 Pro outside of China. Radio certification has already been granted to the phones. The camera specifications of the Redmi K80 series have now been revealed in a leak.

Redmi K80 series phones will have three cameras, including a 50MP main camera. As per the leak, the standard version will include a telephoto camera, while the Pro version’s telephoto will have a 50MP 3x zoom instead of 2x on last year’s K70 Pro. The phones will also be water and dust-resistant according to IP69 standards.

The report says the K80 Pro will be powered by the yet-to-be-released Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chip, instead of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip that was previously expected to power both standard and Pro models.K80 Pro will likely improve CPU, GPU, and AI performance significantly if true.

According to tipster Digital Chat Station, Qualcomm’s latest flagship chipset costs $190, which is about 20% more than the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. Therefore, the new phones may be more expensive.

Redmi K80 series will feature a 6.67-inch 2K 120Hz display from TCL Huaxing Optoelectronics, which uses an upgraded C9 display material. Also, the Redmi K80 Pro is expected to have a massive battery of 6500 mAh, which seems to be a trend among 2024 flagships.
