At a dedicated event in China, Oppo announced its Find X8 flagship phone, a contender for phone of the year. The Find X8 and Find X8 Pro are both redesigned this year by Oppo.
OPPO Find X8:
The new Oppo Find X8 will sport a 6.59-inch Tiama OLED flat 1.5K display. It comes with 120Hz refresh rate support with HDR10+ and OPPO Crystal Shield protection on top. As expected it gets an in-display fingerprint scanner. There is a maximum brightness of 4,500 nits and 2160Hz PWM dimming for comfort.
The Oppo Find X8 is powered by Dimensity 9400 SoC coupled with 12GB/16GB LPDDR5X RAM and 256GB/512GB/1TB UFS 4.0 internal storage space.
The Oppo Find X8 features the new 50MP main LYT-700 sensor with an f/1.8 aperture, 6P glass lens & OIS. It is coupled with a secondary 50MP Smaunsg JN5 ultra-wide sensor with f/2.0 aperture with a 3cm macro option. Lastly, a 50MP LYT-600 telephoto lens with f/2.6 aperture & 3x optical zoom, up to 120X digital zoom, and OIS support.
The new Oppo Find X8 series will indeed come with Hasselblad cameras. There is a 32MP Sony IMX615 selfie shooter placed under the punch-hole display.
The connectivity option includes Dual SIM with Dual 4G LTE, 5G (Dual Band support) VoLTE, Wifi-7, A-GPS, GLONASS, NFC, IR Blaster, Bluetooth 5.4, and USB Type-C port. The Oppo Find X8 packs a 5630 mAh battery with 80W fast-wired & 50W wireless charging support. It also gets an IP68/IP69 rating making the device dust and water-resistant.
It will run on Android 15 with ColorOS 15 out of the box. The Oppo Find X8 also gets a stereo speaker powered by Dolby Atmos. A virtual pressure-sensitive button and an alert slider are also included. The device measures just 7.85mm thick and weighs 193g.
It arrives in Starry Black, Breeze Blue, Light White, and Bubble Pink.

The new Oppo Find X8 Pro will sport a 6.78-inch BOE OLED quad-curved 1.5K display. It comes with 120Hz refresh rate support with HDR10+ and OPPO Crystal Shield protection on top. As expected it gets an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanner. There is a maximum brightness of 4,500 nits and 2160Hz PWM dimming for comfort.
The Oppo Find X8 Pro is powered by Dimensity 9400 SoC coupled with 12GB/16GB LPDDR5X RAM and 256GB/512GB/1TB UFS 4.0 internal storage space.
