Ahead of the October 31 unveiling event, OnePlus has already confirmed the OnePlus 13’s huge battery and support for magnetic wireless charging.

With recently confirmed details about the device, the brand is pushing its teaser campaign forward. OnePlus 13 will feature an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor with a “super intuitive” placement. It will work with wet fingers as well, and unlocking at night will be easier since it won’t require a lot of light. Moreover, the sensor should be faster than the optical ones the company has used so far.

Also included in the phone is a new vibration motor, enabling “(gaming) controller-level haptic feedback” for a truly immersive experience. It is the largest motor ever used on an Android device, with a volume of 602mm3. A total of 72 types of haptic feedback will be available.

The OnePlus 13 is confirmed to be dust and water-resistant to IP68 and IP69 standards (for now). Therefore, it will be dust-tight, not allowing dust particles to enter, as well as withstand immersion in water at 1 m depth and close-range high-pressure, high-temperature water sprays.

The OnePlus 13 is expected to come with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset and three 50 MP cameras on the back. There has already been confirmation from OnePlus that its 6,000 mAh battery will be capable of charging wirelessly at 50W and wiredly at 100W.
