The Xiaomi 15 Series will be the first smartphone in the world to use Snapdragon 8 Elite. Xiaomi confirmed this at the Snapdragon 8 Elite event.
The company will announce the Xiaomi 15 and Xiaomi 15 Pro smartphones on October 29th at an event in China. The event will also introduce the Xiaomi SU7 Ultra.

President of Xiaomi Group, Lu Weibing, explained that the company has made three key technological innovations: HyperCore, HyperConnect, and HyperAl, which respectively provide a new advanced experience in basic experience, cross-end intelligent connection, and artificial intelligence.
More than 3,000 engineers are working on Xiaomi’s special team this year. As part of the project, Lu led a team that integrated hardware, software, testing, marketing, and user systems, reconstructed the test model, classified and identified more than 25,000 scenarios, and overcame them one by one. With more than 200 patents, it covers 305 special projects, 52 of which are industry-leading technical achievements. Each application startup and interface sliding will have a silky and delicate texture, and the game power consumption performance will be unmatched.
Xiaomi’s HyperConnect, the intelligent connection architecture, completely atomizes device capabilities, converting single-end capabilities into ecological capabilities. System-level AI is powered by Xiaomi HyperAI’s edge-cloud AI subsystem. The system integrates Xiaomi’s large model matrix of edge-cloud, multi-device edge-side perception, and cross-end execution capabilities. At the bottom layer, it is integrated with the existing OS architecture and combined with privacy computing.
