Xiaomi is preparing to launch HyperOS 2.0 based on Android 15. This month is the likely launch date for the new OS, despite no official announcement from the company.
Over a dozen Xiaomi and Redmi smartphones, including the upcoming Xiaomi 15 and 15 Pro, have been spotted with HyperOS 2.0 internal builds.
In the internal build for the Xiaomi 15, the firmware version is OS2.0.1.5.VOCCNXM, whereas in the internal build for the 15 Pro, it is OS2.0.1.2.VOBCNXM.
More than a dozen Xiaomi and Redmi devices are being tested with HyperOS 2.0 based on Android 15. The update is expected to be released first within China. This list includes:

It might take a little longer for global users. HyperOS might launch globally in December, followed by a wider rollout in January 2025, according to the report.
Xiaomi’s HyperOS platform is the cornerstone of its connected ecosystem, which encompasses smartphones, tablets, and smart home appliances. With HyperOS 2.0, Xiaomi’s AI features will be integrated deeper, along with an upgraded interface and enhanced performance optimizations.
