The Pixel 9 series will be completed by an A series phone, just as it has done in years past. A new leak indicates the design of the Pixel 9a, although not much is known about it yet. We have a few new renders of the Pixel 9a thanks to Android Headlines. According to these renders, Google may be planning a surprising design change.
There is no camera bar on the renders, which is a defining feature of the Pixel line. Except for the pill-shaped ring that surrounds the lenses, the two cameras appear flush with the back panel. It may just have made your day if you’ve been waiting for the day when phones won’t have protruding cameras.
As for the rest of the phone, it mostly resembles the Pixel 9, with flat sides and rounded corners. Additionally, the bezels are fairly thick, which is to be expected from a budget device.
Additionally, the outlet states that the Pixel 9a will launch with Android 15 instead of the Pixel 9 series. It will also have a Tensor G4 chip. Based on our earlier report, we expect the Pixel 9’s SoC to differ slightly from this one. It’s also possible that the Pixel 9a will have a larger battery than its predecessor.
