According to the latest report by 9to5Google, Apple is expected to launch the next iPhone SE next year, with key details and a launch date.
It is possible that the upcoming iPhone SE 4 will carry the codename V59 and will serve as an entry-level iPhone. In place of a traditional home button, Apple will opt for an edge-to-edge screen.
With a 48MP rear camera and 2x in-sensor zoom, as well as a 12MP selfie camera, the phone will retain its predecessor’s single-camera setup.
Apple’s iPhone SE 4 will also be the first smartphone to come with its proprietary 5G modem. The wireless modem, codenamed Centauri, will be Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and GPS-compatible as well. By using the proprietary model, Apple iPhones will consume less battery power and have better hardware integration. Apple Intelligence could also be included right out of the box on the phone.
According to reports, the SE 4 will feature a 6.1-inch OLED display with a resolution of 1,170 x 2532 pixels and a traditional notch. Apple Intelligence features will be supported by the A18 SoC and 8GB of RAM on the device. According to rumors, the A18 SoC on the upcoming iPhone SE will be similar to the one on the iPhone 16 series, which had a five-core GPU.
Apple has yet to reveal the pricing for the iPhone SE 4, but it’s likely to be more expensive than the iPhone SE 3.Until more concrete details emerge, we should take these details with a grain of salt.
