According to Macotakara, two iPhone SE 4 dummy units were photographed on Sunday. Apple’s iPhone SE 4 is expected to take its design cues from the smaller model, which resembles the iPhone 14. Among other features, this model will feature a notch, Face ID, and edge-to-edge display. Due to the iPhone 14’s mute switch replacing the Action Button, the iPhone SE 4 will also feature a mute switch. Volume keys and side buttons remain the same size.

A dummy unit of the larger iPhone SE 4 Plus is also shown on Macotakara. Compared to the 6.1-inch display on the iPhone SE 4, the iPhone SE 4 Plus would have a 6.5-inch display. There has been no word about an iPhone SE 4 Plus model, which wouldn’t make sense if such a device were legitimately on its way. Macotakara reports that Apple does not yet know whether to offer both iPhone SE 4 variants, so let’s stick with the 6.1-inch model for now.

Additionally, the iPhone SE 4 will have TSMC’s third-generation 3nm process node (N3E), as well as a 6.1-inch OLED display (making it the first SE release with an OLED display). It is the same AP found in the iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus. It comes with a single 48MP camera on the rear. Apple’s homegrown 5G modem will replace the Snapdragon X65 modem on the iPhone 14 in the iPhone SE 4.
