There are plans to launch a new iPhone SE early in 2025, and Apple is working on a new affordable device. Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman said two new iPad Air models will also come with an updated Magic Keyboard.
It will be based on the iPhone 14. Apple will replace the home button with Face ID. There is a possibility that the phone will also come with Apple Intelligence, as it should have one of the company’s more recent chipsets.
Gurman did not provide any specifics about the “internal improvements” that will be included in the new iPad Air models. Additionally, he expects the Magic Keyboard to be updated for both the 11-inch and 13-inch iPad Air models, including some of the new features introduced on the iPad Pro.
Apple often announces new iPhone SE and iPad Air models in March and April, either through a virtual event or a press release.
Also planned for 2025 are revamped Mac Minis, updated MacBook Pros, and iMacs with M4 chips. New MacBook Airs, Mac Studio, and Mac Pro devices will also be compatible with the platform. Since the current iPad Pro is already “a generation ahead,” the journalist added that there might not be a new iPad Pro in 2025.
