So far, Nothing, the UK-based manufacturer of consumer electronics, has launched four Nothing-branded devices as well as one phone under the CMF-by-Nothing brand. Nothing Phone (3) is said to be released next year, and a new back design concept image of the upcoming smartphone has been shared via Reddit.
As a start, the back design concept is similar to those of the already launched Nothing smartphones, while at the same time having some differences. In the concept image, there are seven glyph lights (flash glyph, essential notification glyph, charging glyph, and recorder light, flashlight).
Three camera units are also present, arranged similarly to an Apple iPhone Pro model’s camera module, including a main camera, an ultrawide camera, and a telephoto lens. There is also a charging coil at the centre, along with a volume rocker and an additional button on the left side panel.
Since most of the design features are unlikely to appear in the actual device, this is more or less a dream design. Until now, no triple-camera phone has been introduced by the brand. Likely, Nothing Phone (3) will not reduce the number of glyphs.
Nothing Phone (3) was initially expected to launch in July 2024, however, Carl Pei himself hinted that it would launch next year, in 2025. On the device, we can also expect some AI features. In addition, the device will likely use Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset, meaning this will also be the brand’s sub-flagship device.
