According to reports, Redmi is developing the Redmi Note 14 series for China. It appears that the Note 14 series will launch in the second half of this month given that Redmi announced the Note 13 series in September last year. Redmi General Manager Wang Teng Thomas is slowly teasing the upcoming Note-series phones. According to his recent Weibo posts, the Note 14 lineup will feature several improvements.

According to Thomas’ Weibo post, the new Redmi Note models will continue to be IP68 rated. Redmi Note 13 Pro+ had an IP68-rated chassis last year, whereas Note 13 Pro and Note 13 were IP54-rated. It is unclear whether the Note 14 Pro will feature the same IP68-rated chassis as the Note 14 Pro+.

Like the iPhone 16 series, Thomas claimed that the upcoming Note models will have improvements in durability and battery life. The brand may offer larger batteries on the Note 14 Pro and Note 14 Pro+.

The Note 14 Pro and Note 14 Pro+ are expected to have curved edges and a 1.5K 120Hz OLED display. A new Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chip might be used on the Pro model, while a Dimensity 7350 chip might be used on the Pro+. There is a possibility that one of these models will support 90W rapid charging.
