An acclaimed tipster recently revealed key details about a forthcoming flagship device, believed to be the Xiaomi 15 Ultra. Xiaomi’s most advanced device is expected to launch in the first quarter of next year, building on the Xiaomi 14 Ultra’s legacy.

According to the leak, Xiaomi 15 Ultra will feature a quad-camera setup with three 50MP lenses and a 200MP telephoto lens.

One of the highlights of the Xiaomi 15 Ultra is its imaging system. There are three 50MP sensors and a powerful 200MP lens, which is expected to be a periscope telephoto lens.

Xiaomi 15 Ultra’s telephoto lens supports not only traditional zoom capabilities but also low-light telephoto and ultra-telephoto macro modes, making it an outstanding device for photography enthusiasts. Xiaomi’s top-tier devices are renowned for their large sensors, and the 50MP sensor on these devices is expected to feature a 1-inch+ sensor with fixed aperture.

Although it remains unclear whether the Xiaomi 15 Ultra will use this sensor for its ultra-wide lens, rumors suggest that the 200MP telephoto lens could utilize Samsung’s HP3 sensor, which provides up to 10x optical zoom.

The Xiaomi 15 Ultra is also expected to deliver flagship-level performance with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chipset, possibly paired with 24GB of RAM. The device may also feature a 6,200mAh battery, ensuring all-day power, and will run HyperOS 2.0, based on Android 15.

According to leaks, the phone will have a 2K display with micro-curvature on all four sides and an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor embedded in the display. The body will be available in plain leather, fiberglass, or ceramic finishes.
