Vivo will launch its X200 series phone on October 14. Vivo X200 and X200 Pro are expected to be the first two phones in the lineup. The Ultra model will not be released until early 2025. The leaks haven’t stopped, however.
Digital Chat Station has revealed the phone’s processor and camera details in a new post. According to the tipster, the phone will be powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 codenamed “SM8750”. The camera is said to have a 200MP periscope lens.
It mentions three other lenses, each with a resolution of 50MP. If the leak is true, that means Vivo is replacing the three lenses on the X100 Ultra with four lenses on the X200 Ultra.
One 50MP camera is reportedly a main module with a “fixed large aperture”. Although the tipster doesn’t specifically mention it, we assume the other two 50MP lenses are ultrawide and telephoto.
The tipster also revealed the battery size of the X200 series phone today. Among them, the X200 Pro has a 6000mAh battery. According to rumours, the Vivo X200 Mini will have a 5700mAh battery, while the vanilla Vivo X200 will have a 5800mAh battery. Vivo’s other X200 phones will be powered by MediaTek’s upcoming Dimensity 9400 processor
