The Galaxy M05 is Samsung’s latest entry-level handset in the M-series. The looks alone will tell you this is a rebadged Galaxy A05, and the specs confirm it as well.

Galaxy M05:

The new Galaxy M05 sports a 6.7-inch HD+ Infinity-V PLS LCD display. It also comes with Corning Gorilla Glass on top. The new Galaxy M05 is powered by a Helio G85 SoC 2.0 GHz Octa-Core processor coupled with 4GB RAM & 64GB internal storage.

 

On the back, the Galaxy M05 features dual rear cameras with a 50MP main sensor having an aperture of f/1.8 and a  2MP depth sensor with an aperture of f/2.4 and LED flash. There is an 8MP selfie shooter with an aperture of f/2.2.

 

All this is packed with a larger 5000 mAh battery and comes with 25W fast charging support. The new Galaxy A05 runs on Android 14 with One UI 6.0 Core on top. Samsung is promising 2 major Android updates and 4 years of security updates. The device also keeps a 3.5 mm jack, USB Type-C port, FM Radio, Bluetooth 5.3, Wi-Fi, A-GPS, and GLONASS, and also has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.

In India, the Samsung Galaxy M05 is available in Mint Green colours. The Galaxy M05 with 4GB+64GB costs Rs.7999/- in India. Samsung India, Amazon, and partnering retailers will soon carry the device.
