A few design changes are expected to make the Galaxy S25 Ultra stand out from the Galaxy S24 Ultra. Recent renders of the S25 Ultra show a device with flat edges and rounded corners. An unofficial render shows the difference between the next-gen and current-gen Ultra.
Ice Universe shared a render of the Galaxy S25 Ultra next to the Galaxy S24 Ultra. According to the tipster, the S25 Ultra’s metal frame will be thinner and lighter than its predecessor. The S25 Ultra is rumoured to weigh around 14g less than the S24 Ultra, according to an earlier rumour.
An image of the sides of both phones shows how the design has changed. The sides of the S25 Ultra have been flattened out, and the boxy corners have been rounded, matching up with last week’s renders. Although it’s not a drastic change, it’s enough of a change to distinguish between them.
The S25 Ultra is expected to be smaller in almost every aspect than its predecessor. However, the display size is expected to stay the same as the bezels are expected to be slimmer.
