With the P2 Pro, Realme launched its latest P-series phone in India today. The phone features a curved OLED screen, a Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chip, and a 50MP camera equipped with Sony’s LYT-600 sensor. Besides the new phone, Realme also introduced a budget Android tablet – the Realme Pad 2 Lite.
Realme P2 Pro 5G:
Realme P2 Pro 5G will arrive with a 6.67-inch FHD+ (2400×1080p) curved AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It comes with an in-display fingerprint scanner and 2000 nits of peak brightness. The device also gets  Rainwater Smart Touch, and Sunlight Screen technology for better outdoor readability. There is Corning Gorilla Glass 7i protection on top.
The new Realme P2 Pro 5G is powered by the latest Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 SoC coupled with 12GB/8GB RAM and 128GB/256GB/512GB storage space. To help keep thermals in check, Realme added a 4,500mm2 vapour chamber.
The device will feature dual-rear cameras with a 50MP LYT-600 main sensor, OIS coupled with a 2MP macro sensor with LED flash. There is a 32MP selfie shooter under the punch-hole notch. All this is packed with a 5200 mAh battery with 80W fast charge support.
The connectivity option includes Dual SIM with Dual 4G LTE and VoLTE support, Dual Band Wifi, Dual Frequency (L1 + L5) GPS, NFC, A-GPS, GLONASS, USB Type-C port, FM Radio and Bluetooth 5.2. It comes with IP65 certification making it dust and water-resistant.
It runs on Android 14 OS with Realme 5.0 on top. The Realme pledges 2 Android updates and 3 years of security updates. The device measures 8.21mm thick and weighs 180g. The Realme P2 Pro 5G comes in two colors Parrot Green and Eagle Grey.

The Realme P2 Pro 5G with 8GB+128GB costs Rs.21,999/- whereas the 12GB+256GB at Rs.24,999/- & 12GB+512GB at Rs.27,999/- in India. The company is also offering flat Rs.2000/- off on Select banks Credit cards. Rs. 1000 bank discount on 12GB+ 256GB and 12GB + 512GB models
Realme Pad 2 Lite:
The Realme Pad 2 Lite sports a 10.5-inch FHD+ IPS LCD display with 90Hz refresh rate. The front of the device has an 8MP camera, while the back has an 8MP camera. It comes with quad-speakers powered by Dolby Atmos support.
The tablet is reportedly powered by the Helio G99 chipset. It is coupled with 4GB/8GB RAM and 128GB storage. The Realme Pad 2 Lite packs 8300 mAh battery with 15W fast charge support.
Realme Pad 2 Lite runs Android 14 with Realme UI 5.0. The device will be available in Wi-Fi variants. The connectivity option includes Dual-Band Wifi, Bluetooth 5.3 & USB Type-C port.
Realme Pad 2 Lite Wifi only variant costs Rs.14,999/- in India and comes with a 4GB+128GB variant option. The 8GB/128GB variant costs Rs.16,999/-. The realme Pad 2 Lite comes in Space Grey and Nebula Purple colours
