According to XiaomiTime, the POCO M7 5G specifications have been revealed. The new smartphone will have similar features to the Redmi 14C 5G. It is now official that a new smartphone exists based on the information revealed in the HyperOS source code. There are no plans to sell the POCO M7 5G in the global market since it will be exclusive to the Indian market.
Xiaomi’s upcoming product lineup includes the POCO M7 5G, Redmi 14C 5G, and Redmi 14R 5G. POCO M7 5G will be codenamed “flame_p”. It will have the same specifications as the recently introduced Redmi 14R 5G and the upcoming Redmi 14C 5G. The HyperOS source code confirms this information.
The model number of the POCO M7 5G is 24108PCE2I. It is not surprising that the codename “flame_p” appears in the HyperOS source code. “Flame” is the codename for the Redmi 14R / 14C 5G. “flame_p” refers to ‘Flame POCO’.

The new Redmi 14R will sport a 6.88-inch HD+ IPS LCD with a resolution of 1600 x 720 pixels, & a 20:9 aspect ratio. The display also gets Corning Gorilla Glass protection and an oleophobic coating & 120Hz refresh rate. It is powered by Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 SoC coupled with 8GB LPDDR4X RAM and 128GBÂ storage.
It features a 13MP main rear camera with LED flash. The device comes with an 8MP selfie shooter with an f/2.2 aperture. It packs a 5160 mAh battery with 18W charging support. The device comes with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.
The connectivity options include Dual SIM with Dual 5G, 4G LTE and VoLTE, A-GPS, GLONASS, Bluetooth 5.3, Dual-Band Wi-Fi, USB Type-C port, NFC, FM Radio, and a 3.5 mm audio jack. It runs on Android 14 OS with HyperOS on top.
The Redmi 14R 5G costs 1,099 yuan (Rs.13,000/-). There are three different finishes available for the Redmi 14R: leather (green), glass (black and purple), and plastic (blue).
