Oppo’s highly anticipated Find X8 Ultra is expected to debut in the first quarter of 2025. Defying its siblings, the Find X8 and Find X8 Pro, this top-tier Find X8 Ultra will feature cutting-edge features.

Oppo Find X8 Ultra will be distinguished by its 2K OLED display. Compared to the 1.5K OLED displays that have been rumoured for the other models, this premium screen technology will offer a sharper resolution. As a result, the Ultra model will stand out from the others.

However, the previous Find X7 Ultra had a 6.82-inch screen, so the size is expected to be similar. There is speculation the Ultra will feature a slightly larger screen than the Pro variant, which is expected to have a 6.7-inch display. A Dynamic Island-style UI and slim bezels are also expected, along with IP69-rated durability.

Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 is likely to power the Find X8 Ultra, moving away from MediaTek’s Dimensity 9400 chipset, which will power the Find X8 and Find X8 Pro. As a result, the Ultra model will have a noticeable performance advantage thanks to the Snapdragon chip, which offers enhanced AI capabilities, improved power efficiency, and improved multitasking capabilities.

The Find X8 Ultra is set for release in January 2024, but the Dimensity 9400-powered Find X8 and Find X8 Pro could be unveiled as early as October 20, 2023.
