Today, some leaked images purport to show a live working prototype of Oppo’s Find X8, which is expected to go on sale in October.
There’s no doubt that the Find X8 pictured here uses a huge case in order to disguise the fact that it’s an unreleased smartphone roaming the streets of China.
Oppo’s interpretation of Apple’s Dynamic Island is shown in the rightmost image.
According to rumours, the Find X8 will also ‘borrow’ the iPhone 16’s Camera Control. Previous rumours suggested the Find X8 would have a flat-screen between 6.5″ and 6.7″ with a resolution of 1256×2760. This device will be powered by the Dimensity 9400 SoC from MediaTek.
There will be three cameras: a 50 MP main camera, a 50 MP ultrawide camera, and a 3x periscope zoom camera. It will be available in black, white, blue, and pink. With a 5,600 mAh battery and 100W wired charging support.
OPPO Find X8 Pro:
The OPPO Find X8 Pro has a 6.8X-inch micro-curved screen with 1.5K, 120 Hz, ISO depth. This device will also use the Dimensity 9400 SoC. There will be a 50 MP wide lens, a 50 MP ultra-wide lens, a 3x telephoto lens, and a 10x periscope lens.
It will have a slightly larger 5,700 mAh battery and support 100W fast charging. With a glass body and a black, white, and blue colour scheme, it will be similar to the standard model.
The OPPO Find X8 is set to launch in October. Further, the Find X8 Pro is yet to be confirmed for global and Indian markets. There is a high likelihood that both devices will launch in mainland China soon and globally, including in India.
