Oppo unveiled the Oppo Find N3 foldable phone in China last year. Its successor was not released this year, however. According to recent reports, Oppo may unveil the Find N5 in the first quarter of 2025. Digital Chat Station has shared some details about Oppo’s next-generation foldable phone in a new leak.

It is expected that the Find N5 will come equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 SoC, which is slated to debut in October, the SM8750 chipset. With the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chip, the Find N5 could be the world’s first foldable phone.

Both the inner foldable display and the cover screen are expected to support a 2K resolution. On the back panel, the device will have a triple camera setup led by a Sony 50-megapixel camera. The periscope telephoto camera will be joined by an ultra-wide lens and possibly an ultra-telephoto camera. There will be a circular camera island on the Find N5 just like on its predecessor.

With an estimated body thickness of around 9.x mm, the Find N5 will be extremely thin and lightweight. The device will also include a three-stage alert slider button and enhanced structural reinforcement and waterproofing.

There is no information regarding the Oppo Find N5’s battery in the leak. As the predecessor model featured a 4,800mAh battery, and newer phones tend to come with high-density silicon batteries, the Find N5 will likely feature a larger battery.
