There are no more flagship launches from this generation of processors. Qualcomm and MediaTek will launch flagship processors next month in the form of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 and Dimensity 9400, and Android flagships could follow shortly thereafter. Next month, OnePlus will reveal its BOE OLED display for its upcoming OnePlus 13 flagship.
In China, BOE announced that their next generation flagship BOE X-series display would be available in a OnePlus device next month. According to OnePlus President Li Jie, a future OnePlus smartphone will include this BOE flagship display.
Jie mentions having experienced the first-generation BOE display, which was then used on the OnePlus 12 and received excellent reviews. One of the best flagship displays, it even received an A+ rating from DisplayMate.
It does not explicitly mention the OnePlus 13, but it aligns with what we have heard about the upcoming flagship. In China, OnePlus is expected to launch the OnePlus 13 before November 11. The OnePlus 13 is expected to launch worldwide around December 2024 because of this accelerated timeline.
OnePlus 13 may come with the BOE X2 display, which is brighter, better, and offers more eye protection than its predecessor.
