There has been a lot of speculation surrounding the iQOO 13. A new leak has surfaced revealing new details about the display and improvements to the phone’s camera, only a day after the camera details were revealed. The phone’s charging details have also been revealed on the 3C certification site.
The iQOO 13 could be the first smartphone with BOE’s latest light-emitting technology for mobile OLED panels, as reported on Weibo by reliable leakster Digital Chat Station (DCS).
According to the company, the new technology offers a 33% increase in panel longevity and a 10% reduction in power consumption. Additionally, the leak suggests a 12.5% increase in “global” brightness, as well as a 50% reduction in screen burn-in.
iQOO 12’s already excellent display will be upgraded with some quality-of-life improvements, with particularly promising claims for panel longevity.
iQOO 13 3C certification reveals some more details about the device. According to the certification site, the smartphone has a model number of V2408A and is capable of 120W charging.
The phone is also expected to feature the upcoming Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 SoC. It has a 50MP Sony IMX921 main sensor, a 50MP Samsung ISOCELL JN1 ultrawide lens, and a 50MP IMX826 telephoto lens with 2x zoom.
