Leading Chinese smartphone brands are preparing to announce new flagship phones in the last few months of this year. 6,000mAh batteries are about to become a trend. iQOO Z9 Turbo+, set to debut this week, has a 6,400mAh battery, while the Vivo Y300 Pro comes with a 6,500mAh battery. iQOO’s upcoming flagship phone will also feature a huge battery, according to a new leak.
Weibo tipster Digital Chat Station recently revealed that a forthcoming iQOO phone will have a 6,100mAh battery, dual cells, and support 120W fast charging. It seems he may be referring to the iQOO 13 since he did not specify the device’s name. According to previous reports, the device will support wireless charging up to 50W.
The tipster previously revealed a lot of details about the iQOO 13. It will have a custom-designed flat OLED panel with a 2K resolution and 144Hz refresh rate, according to the tipster. It will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 processor.
There will be a 50-megapixel primary camera with optical image stabilization (OIS), an ultrawide lens with 50-megapixels, and a periscope lens with 50-megapixels. It may have a 16-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies.
iQOO 13 will run Android 15 based on OriginOS 15. Other features include an ultrasonic in-screen fingerprint sensor, a metal middle frame, a Halo light strip, and an IP68-rated chassis. In the topmost variant, 16 GB of RAM and UFS 4.0 storage will be included.
According to the leak, the iQOO 13 could start at around Rs 55,000 in India. Following its initial release in China, it is expected to launch in India in December.
