Xiaomi is all set to launch two new flagships under the Xiaomi 14 series with the new Xiaomi 14T & Xiaomi 14T Pro. Previously we got many leaks and rumors about the new Xiaomi 14T series. Finally, Xiaomi has revealed the launch date for the Xiaomi 14T & Xiaomi 14T Pro for Global regions.
Xiaomi has announced the launch date for its 14T series smartphones. On September 26, Xiaomi will launch the 14T and 14T Pro globally.
Leica and Xiaomi continue their strategic partnership. Similar to last year’s Xiaomi 13T series, both new phones will feature Leica lenses and colour optimizations. According to Xiaomi, the Leica colour profiles now include “cinematic artistry and humanistic photography.”
According to the launch page, the new devices have flat frames and square camera islands, in line with the leak earlier today. The company also confirmed both devices will come with a one-time out-of-warranty repair with no additional labour fees and a one-time free screen repair.
Xiaomi 14T:
The Xiaomi 14T sports a 6.67 inches 1.5K (2712 x 1220p) OLED (C7) display with a 144Hz refresh rate. It also gets 10-bit colours, HDR10+, Dolby Vision, and 4000-nits brightness. It features an in-display fingerprint scanner.
The Xiaomi 14T comes with MediaTek Dimensity 8300 Ultra SoC. It is coupled with 12GB LPDDR5 RAM and 256 GB UFS 3.1 storage. PixelWorks X7 display chip is also included.
Xiaomi 14T features a Leica professional triple camera with a 50MP 1/1.56″ IMX906 main sensor (f/1.62). Further, there is a Leica 50MP x2.6 telephoto lens with AF, 5P Lens and 5x optical zoom with OIS support. Lastly, there is a Leica 12MP ultra-wide sensor with 120 degrees FoV and f/2.2 aperture. It features a 32MP selfie shooter under the punch-hole notch. The Xiaomi 14T packs a 5500 mAh battery with 120W fast charging support.
The connectivity options include Dual SIM with 4G LTE & 5G support, NFC, IR blaster, Bluetooth 5.4, Wi-Fi 7, and USB Type-C port with X-axis linear motor. It runs on HyperOS with Android 14 OS out of the box.
