iQOO announced last week that it would soon launch a new phone in China called the iQOO Z9 Turbo+. Even though the brand has already revealed its design, it has not yet confirmed its specifications. Leaks from China have, however, revealed what the device may look like.

Based on the leaks above, the iQOO Z9 Turbo+ will be an improved version of the Z9 Turbo. The Z9 Turbo was equipped with a Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chip and a 6,000mAh battery, while the Z9 Turbo+ will be equipped with a Dimensity 9300+ chipset and a 6,400mAh battery. With the Plus edition, rapid charging will be supported at 80W.

Even though the Z9 Turbo+ will pack a larger battery, its slim profile will remain the same at 7.9mm. It will weigh 199 grams instead of 195 grams. The upcoming Z9 Turbo+ will feature iQOO’s self-developed Q1 gaming chip and dual-frequency GPS instead of the Turbo’s independent graphics chip. The rest of the specifications of the Z9 Turbo+ may be identical to those of the Z9 Turbo. On Sept. 24, it will also break cover, according to the leaks above.

It is expected to have a 6.78-inch flat OLED display with a 1.5K resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate, along with an in-screen fingerprint sensor. The device will be based on Android 14 and OriginOS 4.
