Vivo has begun teasing the launch of V40e, the company’s next smartphone in the V40 series, in India. Now finally the company has officially announced the launch date for the new Vivo V40e.
On September 25th, Vivo will launch the V40e smartphone in India. Further, we also got the complete specs sheet with Indian pricing details leaked ahead of the launch.
Vivo V40e:
Vivo V40e will sport a 6.78-inch FHD+ AMOLED Curved display with a 120Hz refresh rate. Featuring 1,300 nits of brightness, 360Hz PWM dimming, and a 93.3% screen-to-body ratio. It measures 7.49mm thick and weighs 183g.
The Vivo V40e is to be powered by Dimensity 7300 SoC. It is coupled with 8GB RAM and 128GB/256GB storage. The Vivo V40e will come with a 50MP (f/1.89) main sensor with OIS coupled with an 8MP ultra-wide camera with LED flash. Aside from AI Eraser and AI Photo Enhancer, the smartphone will also feature AI Portrait Suite.
This time even the vanilla model will feature single-selfie cameras with a 50MP sensor. It also comes with a Dual-Tone flash. The Vivo V40e packs in a 5500 mAh battery with 80W fast charge support. It runs on Android 14 with FunTouch OS 14 on top. This time the device also gets an IP64 rating making it splash-resistant.
The connectivity option includes Dual SIM with 4G LTE,5G, VoLTE support, Dual Band Wifi, A-GPS, GLONASS, Bluetooth 5.2, NFC, and USB Type-C port.
