According to the FCC, the Poco M7 Pro 5G is nearing global launch. As first reported by 91mobiles, the FCC listing confirms the model number (2409FPCC4G) and the name “Pro”. This phone will be the successor to last year’s POCO M6 Pro 5G.

A few details are revealed in the FCC filing. Xiaomi’s HyperOS 1.0 will run on the phone, replacing MIUI, and it will support NFC for contactless payments. According to the listing, the base model option has 128GB of storage.

Leaked images of the phone’s design are perhaps the most interesting. Unlike the M6 Pro, there are only two sensors in the square camera module instead of the wide strip. With other colour options likely to follow, the back features a two-tone, marble-like finish.

According to the FCC documents, the POCO M7 Pro 5G may simply be a rebranded Redmi Note 14 5G. On one of the pages of the document, it mentions that the Poco Global version has two cameras, while the Redmi Global version has three cameras.

Based on this, the phones may have identical camera setups except for the front-facing camera. With only two lenses on the Poco, the Note 14 5G may sacrifice a camera for a lower price.

According to rumours, the Redmi Note 14 5G will have a 1.5K AMOLED display, a 50MP primary camera, and a MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ chipset. These specs can also be expected on the M7 Pro 5G.

The Poco M7 Pro is expected to launch sometime soon, just like the Poco M6 Pro did last August.
