In India, GoPro has launched two new action cameras, the Hero 13 Black and Hero. In addition to interchangeable accessories and lens mods, the top model now supports 4K video recording. Both action cameras are waterproof.

GoPro Hero 13 Black:

With the GoPro Hero 13 Black, you can record videos up to 5.3K at 60 frames per second. Videos are super stable thanks to HyperSmoth stabilization. Also, it features 13x burst slo-mo, which is capable of 720p 400fps and 900p 360fps video capture.

It comes with a new Enduro battery that has a 10% larger capacity of 1900mAh. Up to 1.5 hours of continuous recording at 4K 30fps and 2.5 hours at 1080p 30fps are possible.

The GoPro Hero13 Black now features interchangeable HB-series lenses. When the lens is attached, the camera automatically switches to the appropriate mode. Four new lenses are available separately:

  • The ultra-wide lens mod offers a 177-degree angle of view at a 1:1 aspect ratio.
  • Using macro-lens mod, images can be captured at distances as close as 11 cm. The focus can be manually adjusted with the variable focus ring.
  • The anamorphic lens mod gives you a 21:9 aspect ratio while capturing ultra-wide angle footage.
  • With ND4/ND8/ND16/ND32 ND filters and automatic modes, this ND filter pack has everything you need.

Additionally, GoPro has introduced magnetic latches and ball joint mounts that enable quick camera releases. Additionally, they are compatible with all previous-generation GoPro accessories.

GoPro Hero:

A new action camera from GoPro, the Hero, is lightweight and compact. Despite its rugged and water-resistant design, it weighs just 86 grams. In addition to 4K video recording, the camera also records 2.7K 60fps footage. Touch controls are available to navigate through modes on its LCD screen.

Quik’s app also supports HyperSmooth Video Stabilization. There is no built-in stabilization on the camera itself. One of the most compact action cameras is the GoPro Hero. Using the Enduro battery pack, it can capture up to 100 minutes of video footage.
