On Flipkart, a listing for CMF by Nothing’s 140W GaN charger was recently posted, but it was quickly removed. Flipkart has now listed a 100W GaN power adapter instead, which we expect to be launched soon.
According to the listing, the charger includes specifications and a price, but CMF’s India and global websites do not list it. We have all the details, so this might be a premature listing.
With dimensions of 61.5mm x 60.5mm x 30mm, the 100W GaN charger is compact and lightweight. The device has a two-pin connector and three ports, including one USB Type-A port and two USB Type-C ports.
With GaN (Gallium Nitride) technology, the charger is highly efficient and heat-efficient. A total of nine safety mechanisms are included, including protection against overheating, short circuits, excessive current, and leakage. Your devices should be protected when powered by this method.
Nothing claims that the charger can charge a CMF Phone 1 to 62% in just 30 minutes and that the charger works similarly on a Nothing Phone (2a) Plus. It can be used to re-fuel laptops, including MacBooks, in addition to Nothing products. As a result, the charger supports the PD 3.1 protocol. There is no specific information about each port’s power output when used separately or simultaneously, however.
Pricing:
The charger is currently listed on Flipkart without an official announcement from Nothing or its CMF sub-brand. Dark Grey is available for Rs 3,499/-. Currently, the orange adapter shown above is marked “sold out,” but it may return soon. Both color variants come with a detachable cable.
