Among the new gaming machines announced by Acer are the Predator Orion 7000 desktop and Nitro V laptops. With Intel’s upcoming Arrow Lake processors, the Predator Orion 7000 is a high-end gaming desktop. It also comes with up to an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 GPU. The Predator CycloneX 360 system fan and liquid cooling system keep things cool. With the Nitro V series from Acer, gamers can get something a bit more affordable. As a compact and portable gaming laptop, the Nitro V 14 is designed for gamers on the go, while the Nitro V 16 is designed to be a more balanced laptop that can do it all.

Acer Predator Orion 7000: 

This desktop is powered by Intel’s next-generation Arrow Lake processors, which have not been officially announced. The desktop is available with up to an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 GPU.

It supports 128GB of RAM (32GB x 4) using Dual Channel DDR5 technology. The storage options range from 4TB HDD to 6TB PCIe M.2 SSD. For expansion, there is also an SSD swap slot. It comes pre-installed with Windows 11 Home.

The desktop is equipped with a Predator CycloneX 360 cooling system and liquid cooling. Connectivity options include Thunderbolt 4 and Wi-Fi 7 on the desktop.

Acer Nitro V 14:

There are two display options available for the laptop – one with a WQXGA resolution, and the other with a WUXGA resolution. Both are 14.5-inch IPS screens with a 16:10 aspect ratio and 120Hz refresh rate.

You can choose AMD Ryzen 7 8845HS or AMD Ryzen 5 8645HS as your processor. NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2050, 3050, and 4050 GPUs are available. There is up to 2TB of data on the PCIe Gen4 NVMe SSD with up to 32GB DDR5 RAM. It is pre-installed with Windows 11 Home.

The battery runs up to 6 hours on 57Wh four-cell Li-ion cells. It supports Bluetooth 5.3 and Wi-Fi 6E. The laptop supports DTS X: Ultra audio.

Acer Nitro V 16:

There are two options for display – one with a WQXGA panel and 180Hz refresh rate, and one with a WUXGA panel and 165Hz refresh rate. In both cases, the panel measures 16 inches and has an aspect ratio of 16:10.

You can choose between an Intel Core i7-14650HX or an Intel Core i5 14450HX processor. NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2050, 3050, and 4050 GPUs are available.

There is up to 2TB of data on the PCIe Gen4 NVMe SSD with up to 32GB DDR5 RAM. It is pre-installed with Windows 11 Home.

The battery runs up to 6 hours on 57Wh four-cell Li-ion cells. It supports Bluetooth 5.1 and Wi-Fi 6 AX201. The laptop supports DTS X: Ultra audio.

Pricing:

Acer Nitro V 16 will start from USD 1,299.99 (EUR 1,449 / Rs. 1,09,170 approx.) whereas Nitro V 14 at 1,099.99 (EUR 1,199 / Rs. 92,375 approx.). The Nitro V 14 goes on sale from Sept whereas Nitro V 16 from October.
