At IFA 2024, Acer unveiled its refreshed Swift AI series lineup, among other announcements. Acer Swift Go 14 AI, Swift 14 AI, and Swift 16 AI Copilot+ PCs are included in this lineup. These laptops are powered by the latest AI processors from top brands like Qualcomm, AMD, and Intel, and they come packed with productivity features.

Acer Swift Go 14 AI:

With a metal A cover, the Swift Go 14 AI (SFG-14-01) weighs 1.36kg and measures 322.6 x 225.95 (D) x 10/17.95mm (H). Two display options are available: a 14.5-inch WQXGA IPS display at 2560 x 1600p with 350nits, and an FHD+ IPS display at 1920 x 1200p with 300nits. Both panels support Acer ComfyView and NVIDIA Advanced-Optimus cable, as well as the sRGB color gamut at 100 percent.

It features a 34.GHz octa-core processor with a 45 TOPS NPU in Qualcomm’s Snapdragon X Plus X1P-42-100. In terms of graphics, Qualcomm Adreno GPUs are used. In addition to 32GB of RAM, it is equipped with a 1TB NVMe PCIe Gen 4 SSD with transfer speeds of 16GB/s.  The device supports Windows 11 Home and Pro.

With a 65W charging adapter, the machine is powered by a 75Wh 3-cell battery. According to the manufacturer, it can play back videos for up to 28 hours. Also you can browse the web for up to 20 hours.

In addition to the Corning Gorilla Glass touchpad, the laptop has stereo speakers with AI noise cancellation. Further, there is an IR webcam with QHD resolution, Bluetooth v5.4, and Wi-Fi 7.

Acer Swift 14 AI & 16 AI:

Swift 14 AI measures 312.4 x 221.2 (D) x 15.9mm (H) and weighs 1.26kg. With dimensions of 356 x 249.42 (D) x 9.9-15.9mm (H) across, the Swift 16 AI (SF16-51/SF16-51T) weighs around 1.5kg.

You can choose between a 14-inch 3K OLED display, a 14-inch 2K OLED display, or a 14-inch 2K IPS touch display when ordering the Swift 14 AI laptop. There are two display variants of the Swift 16 AI: an OLED 16-inch display and a 3K touchscreen display.

Swift 14 AI features Intel Core Ultra 7 258V (Series 2) processors with Intel Arc integrated graphics. A top-of-the-line Intel Core Ultra 9 288V processor is paired with Intel Arc graphics in the Swift 16 AI.

There is support for up to 32GB of RAM running at 8448 MT/s on both laptops, as well as up to 1TB of NVMe PCIe Gen 4 SSD storage. Swift 16 AI instead comes with a 2TB SSD. Swift 14 AI is powered by a 65Wh 3-cell battery. During video playback, it claims to last up to 29 hours, while web browsing lasts up to 23 hours. Swift 16 AI comes with a 75Wh battery instead.

Both machines have two USB Type-C ports (supporting USB 4, Thunderbolt 4, DisplayPort, USB charging), two USB Type-A ports, HDMI 2.1, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. They both have DTX stereo speakers with AI noise cancellation, IR webcams, backlit keyboards, Bluetooth v5.4, and Wi-Fi 7.

Acer Swift 14 AI (AMD):

It measures 312.9 (W) x 222.11 (D) x 10/17.9mm (H) and weighs about 1.32kg.

Swift 14 AI AMD models are available with 14-inch WQXGA (2880 x 1800p) 1120Hz OLED displays with 500nits maximum brightness, 100 percent DCI-P3 colour gamut, and Display HDR True Black certification. It features a 14-inch WQXGA (2880 x 1800p) 120Hz IPS display with a peak brightness of 400 nits and a colour gamut of 100 percent sRGB.

Additionally, there is a 14-inch 120Hz IPS touchscreen with the same specs as the above display. Swift 14 AI AMD features AMD Ryzen AI 9 365 processors paired with AMD Radeon 880M integrated graphics. For storage, the laptop supports up to 2TB of NVMe PCIe Gen 4 SSD and up to 32GB of LPDDR5X RAM.

Windows 11 Home is preinstalled on the laptop. OLED variants use 75Wh batteries, while others use 65Wh batteries, both with fast charging capabilities.

There are two USB Type-C ports (supporting USB 4, Thunderbolt 4, DisplayPort, USB charging), two USB Type-A ports, HDMI 2.1, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

The laptops feature DTX stereo speakers with AI noise cancellation, IR webcams, backlit keys, Bluetooth v5.4, Wi-Fi 7, power keycap fingerprint readers, and camera shutters.
