The Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition will be thinner than the Galaxy Z Fold6. Also, the new foldable will have a better camera, as leakster Evan Blass revealed the sensor will have a resolution of 200 MP.

The sensor is expected to be the recently launched ISOCELL HP9. While it does not feature the Tetra-pixel technology, 0.56 mm pixels, and 1/1.4″ size of the ISOCELL HP2, it still has Tetra-pixel technology.

It is expected that the new phone will have a foldable 8″ panel, a 6.5″ cover screen, and a folded thickness of 10.6 mm. Also, we’re waiting for more information on the chipset and the battery capacity once the phone launches in September or October.

As of now, Samsung is not planning to launch the Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition on a global scale. It is expected to compete against the Magic V3 and Mix Fold 4, but rumors suggest it will only be released in Korea and China.
