There will be more Samsung phones released this year. As we’ve already heard quite a few rumours about the upcoming Galaxy S24 FE, we now have even more information.
With a display with a peak brightness of 1,900 nits, Samsung is once again equipping the Galaxy S24 FE with a 6.7-inch 120Hz display. This is quite the upgrade over the Galaxy S23 FE’s 6.4-inch 120Hz display with a peak brightness of 1,450 nits.
In addition to blue, green, black, graphite, and yellow, Samsung will offer the Galaxy S24 FE in five colours. As with the Galaxy S23 FE and Galaxy S24 from earlier this year, the design will remain largely the same. The Galaxy S24 FE will be framed in aluminum, and covered in Corning Gorilla Glass Victus+ just like its predecessor.
There is a 50-megapixel primary camera, a 12-megapixel ultrawide camera, and an 8-megapixel 3x optical zoom with a 10-megapixel selfie camera. With “AI Zoom”, Samsung will use Galaxy AI to get clear shots from a distance. The Galaxy S24 FE does not have a clear zoom distance, however. Due to the same lens, it should be similar to the Galaxy S23 FE, which has a 30x hybrid zoom.
A full charge lasts up to 29 hours of video playback and 78 hours of music playback. Fortunately, the Galaxy S24 FE has a battery with a capacity of 4,565mAh. Even though it’s just a bit bigger than the Galaxy S23 FE, the Exynos 2400e must be much more energy-efficient than the Exynos 2200 that powered the Galaxy S23 FE last year.
Galaxy AI Features:
Samsung is also bringing Galaxy AI to the Galaxy S24 FE as expected. Galaxy S24 FE is being advertised with many of the features that launched with Galaxy Z Fold 6. With Portrait Studio, you can create some cool stylized portraits using Generative AI. Additionally, Circle to Search, Generative Edit, Sketch to Image, and Live Translate will be available.
It is also likely that the Galaxy S24 FE will launch with One UI 6.1.1 because Portrait Studio is only available on Samsung devices that have One UI 6.1.1.
