To appeal to their target audiences, companies often rename their products (look at Sony). Google’s new Pixel 9 Pro Fold isn’t much better. Samsung might use different names for the Galaxy S25 series phones, according to a new leak. We may see the Ultra model receive a name that we thought was long gone.

This news should be taken cautiously even though Yogesh Brar is a noted leaker. Samsung hasn’t confirmed this, so there is a high likelihood that it is inaccurate. It will be at least four months until the phone’s launch.

The Galaxy S25+ might be called the Galaxy S25 Pro, according to his report. As a result, Samsung would join the thousands of other phones that refer to their more advanced versions as Pro models.

The Galaxy S25 Ultra, however, is the star of the show. According to Brar, there won’t be a fifth generation of Ultra phones. Samsung might instead revive the Note brand. The Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25 Pro, and Galaxy S25 Note could all be on the way if this is true.

It is unclear why the company is doing this. Samsung’s Galaxy S25 Ultra (or Note) has been leaking news and leaks about changes to its overall shape. This might be the company looking to update the Galaxy S line after five years.
