In October, Samsung will announce the Galaxy S24 FE after the Pixel and iPhone launches. However, our first images and specs of the Galaxy S24 FE are available today.
Design:
It appears that the device closely resembles the Galaxy S24 and Galaxy S24+. There is a flat design and three camera rings on the back of the phone, which comes in black and green colour options. Due to the antenna lines, the frames are likely aluminium.
You’ll find the volume and power buttons on the right side of the midframe, whereas the bottom section has the SIM tray, USB-C port, and primary speaker grill.
Specs:
The Samsung Galaxy S24 FE will feature a 6.7-inch Full HD+ Dynamic AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It comes with Corning Gorilla Glass Victus+ on top and sports up to 1,900 nits of peak brightness.
The Galaxy S24 FE will be powered by a new Exynos 2400e SoC which is a downgraded version of Exynos 2400 SoC. It is coupled with 8GB RAM and 128GB/256GB storage.
A triple camera setup includes a 50MP camera with optical image stabilization (OIS), an 8MP telephoto sensor, with 3x optical zoom, OIS, and a 12MP Ultra-wide sensor. The device will feature the same 10MP selfie shooter.
The Galaxy S24 FE will feature a 4,565mAh battery and 25W fast charging. Besides 15W wireless charging, the smartphone comes with an IP68 rating making it dust and water-resistant.
The connectivity options include Dual SIM with 4G LTE, VoLTE, 5G, Wifi-6, A-GPS, GLONASS, USB Type-C port, NFC, Bluetooth 5.3 & under-display fingerprint scanner.
The Galaxy S24 FE will boot Android 14 out of the box with One UI 6.1.1. The smartphone will receive four major Android OS updates and five years of security updates.
It runs One UI 6.1.1, but Portrait Studio is only available on One UI 7. It’s unlikely this phone will launch with One UI 7. There are also other AI features such as Generative Edit, Circle to Search, Sketch to Image, and Live Translate.
