Evan Blass has posted the first images of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy A06, which appears to use the same chipset as the A05.

The Galaxy A06 is shown here in silver and black. Unlike the solid colour back shown in July’s 3D renders, it features a pinstripe pattern. It has a flat display on the front and dual cameras on the back, measuring 167.3 x 77.9 x 8.0 mm. The phone also has a 3.5mm audio jack and a side-mounted fingerprint reader. According to the source, the phone’s LCD will be 6.7 inches diagonally and have HD+ resolution.

Geekbench lists the Samsung Galaxy A06 as having the ARM MT6769V/CZ motherboard. With a base frequency of 1.80GHz, it has eight cores. MediaTek Helio G85 is expected to power the device. It should be noted that this is the same chipset that powers the Galaxy A05. According to the database listing, the device will come with 6GB of RAM and more options at launch. Out of the box, the smartphone will run Android 14.

Geekbench scores the Samsung Galaxy A06 1,664 points for single-core and 5,326 points for multi-core. According to WiFi Alliance certification, the device will support dual-band WiFi 5. Those are all the details we know about the smartphone. It will not be long before more details about the Galaxy A06 emerge.
