With the Samsung Galaxy A06, Samsung’s A-series is entering its sixth generation. By the end of this year, the phone may be available globally. Google Play Console listing confirms some specifications of the phone, which we previously saw.
According to its listing on the Google Play Console, the Samsung Galaxy A06 is also a 4G device. As previously reported, the device will include MediaTek’s Helio G85 chipset (MT6769V/CZ) along with an ARM Mali G52 GPU.
There is also a 4GB RAM module and a 1600x720p resolution display with 300 DPI. The Samsung Galaxy A06 will run Android 14 out of the box with Samsung’s One UI Core skin. It comes in two colour options, Black and Silver, with a pinstripe pattern and a U-shaped waterdrop notch.
Galaxy A16 5G:
In December last year, Samsung launched its Galaxy A15 5G, which will be succeeded by the Galaxy A16 5G. Geekbench has already revealed one version of the Galaxy A16 5G. Using the same database, MySmartPrice has identified the Asian/African variant of the device.
According to Geekbench, its model number is SM-A166E, where E represents Asia or Africa. In the single-core test, it scored 967, and in the multi-core test, it scored 1971. Additionally, the listing confirms the presence of the Exynos 1380 5G chip.
There was an earlier variant we saw with the SM-A166P model number and a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset. On the single-core test, the Dimensity variant scored 514 points, while on the multi-core test, it scored 1,464.
Additionally, we hope that the Galaxy A16 5G will have multiple storage variants. The device we spotted earlier had 6GB of RAM, while the Asian variant has 4GB.
