It won’t be long before we learn more about the Redmi Note 14 series. Traditionally, the Redmi Note lineup is released in September or October in China. Previous Redmi Note 13 lineups were announced in September 2023 (in China). The new lineup is expected to be unveiled in China in the coming months, followed by a global launch in late 2024 or early 2025. So, we’ve got our first look at the Redmi Note 14 Pro.
Leaked renders show a striking departure from previous models. Redmi Note 14 Pro features a large, roundish square camera module that houses multiple lenses, as well as what is rumoured to be a 50MP primary sensor. This is a major update for the Redmi Note series. With its horizontally aligned camera cut-out, the previous lineup was a bit dull.
With its squarish shape, this camera module offers something unique. Unlike its biggest competitor Realme 13 series and other phones with circular rear modules, it is not fully round. Furthermore, the silver frame of the camera module will also add to the aesthetics of the phone, especially in dark colours.
It will be equipped with a 50-megapixel main camera as well as two other unspecified sensors. Besides Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chipset, the Redmi Note 14 Pro is also expected to come with a 1.5K dual-micro-curved display. A global launch is expected in November along with the Redmi Note 14 series next month in China.
It’s reasonable to expect incremental improvements in the Redmi Note 14 Pro, even though details are still under wraps.
