During the second half of October, Xiaomi is expected to unveil the Xiaomi 15 and 15 Pro, the first phones powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chipset. It is rumoured that Redmi will introduce the Redmi K80 and K80 Pro in November with Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 and 8 Gen 4 chipsets, respectively. A Weibo post by tipster Digital Chat Station revealed key details about the alleged Redmi K80 Pro today.
According to the leak, the Redmi K80 Pro will have a flat OLED display with a single punch-hole and thin bezels. It was previously reported that the screen would support 2K resolution and be equipped with a fingerprint sensor.
The Redmi K80 Pro is expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chipset. On the back of the phone, there will be a triple camera setup with a 50-megapixel primary camera and a telephoto camera. The lens will support 3x optical zoom and have a 50-megapixel resolution.
According to the tipster, the K80 Pro will have a round camera module in the upper left corner. There will be no decorative studs on the camera module of the K80 Pro, unlike the K70 Pro. In addition to the glass back, the tipster said the middle frame of the Redmi K80 Pro will be made of metal.
The tipster did not mention the battery capacity of the alleged Redmi K80 Pro. It was claimed in May that the battery would be 5,500mAh. A different source suggested last month that it may come with a 6,000mAh battery. Additionally, 120W fast charging is expected.
