There have been several new G-series smartphones launched by Motorola in different markets over the last few years. The Moto G64 5G, Moto G85 5G, and Moto G45 5G have been launched so far. The brand is also working on the Moto G35 5G, an entry-level 5G phone. A new report suggests the Motorola G55 will also be part of the G-series.

Design:

The Moto G55’s front-view images have been shared by popular tipster Evan Blass. Budget-friendly pricing is evident from its chunky bottom bezel. On the right side of the phone, there is a volume rocker and a power key.

There is a 3.5mm audio jack, a microphone, a USB-C port, and a speaker grille on the bottom of the device. As far as design goes, the G55 resembles the recently released G45 and differs from last year’s G54. Firstly, the main camera mesa is seamless with the rest of the rear surface.

There are two cameras within the mesa and a flashlight module. Motorola’s logo is also on the back. Like the Moto G45, the upcoming phone has a flat side frame, but a smooth finish around the edges. It arrives in three colours Grey, Green and Purple.

Specs:

The new Moto G55 will sport a massive 6.5-inch FHD+ IPS LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The device is powered by the new MediaTek Dimensity 7025 SoC. It is coupled with 8GB/12GB RAM and 128GB/256GB storage space with microSD card support.
