Announcing new services related to Jio, Reliance Industries’ telecom arm, at its 47th Annual General Meeting today. Jio announced JioTV OS, Jio Brain, Jio AI Cloud Welcome Offer, JioPhoneCall AI, and more

Jio AI Cloud Welcome Offer:

JioCloud stores photos, videos, documents, and other content in the cloud. As part of the Jio AI Cloud Welcome offer, RIL Chairman Mukesh Ambani will give Jio users 100GB of free cloud storage for the first six months. Jio customers will be able to take advantage of this offer starting this Diwali.

As part of our commitment to providing innovative digital solutions to our customers, we are pleased to introduce the Jio Cloud Welcome Offer.

JioPhoneCall AI:

JioPhoneCall AI is Jio’s new AI-powered service for recording and transcribed calls. It can record, transcribe, summarize, and translate phone calls.

No app is required to use JioPhoneCall AI. The Jio special number (1-800-732673, as shown in the event) is added to the existing call. Once the welcome message is over, press 1 to start recording. JioCloud AI will save it along with a transcription. You can pause the recording by pressing 2, and you can stop it by pressing 3.

For privacy reasons, JioPhoneCall AI will periodically inform everyone on the call that the call is being recorded. As of now, it is unclear when this service will become available and whether Jio intends to charge for it.

Jio Brain:

It helped Jio accelerate AI adoption with JioBrain, a suite of AI tools and platforms. Shortly, it will be rolled out to enterprise customers across other Reliance companies. We still need to learn more about JioBrain.

Jio AI Data Center:

In its “AI Everywhere For Everyone” vision, Reliance Jio says it is committed to democratizing AI in India. Jamnagar will have green energy-powered AI-ready data centres. It also mentioned AI’s potential impact on agriculture, education, healthcare, small businesses, and more.
