The iQOO 13 is being prepared for the Chinese market. It is expected to debut in November of this year. The company is unlikely to release a “Pro” variant along with this product. So, the iQOO 13 is expected to have similar features to the Pro variant that was cancelled. The rumour mill has already leaked many details about the iQOO 13’s specifications. The design of the device has been revealed by a new leak, thanks to tipster Bald is Panda.

iQOO Z1

According to the tipster, the upcoming iQOO 13 may have a light strip on its back. The first generation iQOO smartphone, launched in 2019, featured a light-strip design. Originally, the glass back panel was etched with a light path approximately 1 mm deep, allowing the light strip to shine through. IQOO even incorporated additional light and shadow effects within the software to complement the light strip, enhancing its visual appeal overall.

The light strip on iQOO’s smartphones was eventually removed. The brand is now rumoured to bring back the light strip in its upcoming iQOO 13. It could indicate a return to the brand’s roots as a high-performance, gaming-oriented smartphone brand. Squircle cameras were featured in the iQOO 12 launched last year. Whether the iQOO 13 will feature the same design is unclear at this time.

There may be a 50-megapixel primary camera, an ultra-wide lens, and a 3x optical zoom periscope telephoto camera mounted on the rear panel of the phone. Additionally, the device is expected to have an IP68-rated chassis, a metal middle frame, and a glass back.
