The Honor 200 series has begun receiving its first software update in India. In addition to adding new features and improving performance, this update includes the August 2024 security patch.

Honor has rolled out the first OTA software update for its recently launched HONOR 200 series in India. As part of this update, software version N39I 8.0.0.135 introduces the highly anticipated call recording feature, as well as enhancements for faster performance, improved security, and a smoother user interface.

This recommended update includes security patches to enhance the security of your system. It includes a security patch, improved system stability, and improved compatibility with some third-party apps.

For photos taken in Portrait mode with the rear camera or in Aperture mode, this update adds Depth effect adjustment. Different visual experiences can be created by adjusting the depth effect. Go to: Select an image > f icon at the top of the screen > Adjust Bokeh to experience it.

Ultra Group Photos are now available in Portrait mode with the rear camera. By automatically correcting closed eyes and beautifying portraits, the photos become more appealing. In some scenarios, this update optimizes the shooting effect.

System security has been enhanced with the Android security patch (Aug 2024) incorporated.

Currently, the update is rolling out to all Honor 200 Pro 5G users in India. The standard Honor 200 5G model is expected to receive an update soon.
