According to reports, Honor is developing the Honor Magic 7 series of smartphones for China. According to prolific leaker Digital Chat Station, the Magic 7 lineup will be announced in November. One of the tipsters who leaked details about upcoming Honor phones, Teme, has shared a render of the Magic 7 Pro. Based on leaks surrounding the phone, the image gives a first look at the device’s design.
According to the image above, the Magic 7 Pro’s camera module will resemble that of the Magic 6 series. While the predecessor’s cameras and LED flash were triangular, the Magic 7 Pro’s are expected to be square.
There are rumours that the camera in the top right corner will be a 180-megapixel or 200-megapixel Samsung HP3 periscope telephoto camera with impressive zoom capabilities. There is a LiDAR sensor, an LED flash, and a colour temperature sensor in the top left corner, which should improve autofocus and lighting.
The main camera will be an OmniVision OV50K with a 50-megapixel resolution. At the bottom right corner, there will be a 50-megapixel ultra-wide camera. No other information about the phone’s specifications was provided by the tipster. It is rumoured to be equipped with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 processor.
Like the Magic 6 Pro, the Honor Magic 7 Pro will feature a quad-curved OLED panel with a pill-shaped cutout. The display is expected to support a 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. There may be a silicon battery with a capacity of around 6,000mAh inside.
